Loyola, ranked No. 3 in the Southland by The Times, had few problems with Alemany during a 74-50 victory on Wednesday night.

In other Mission League action, Jahmel Taylor scored 23 points and Kennedy Edwards had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Sherman Oaks Notre Dame to a 74-40 vitory over Verbum Dei.

Jamaal McClerkin scored 22 points for Chaminade during a 61-52 triumph over Crespi.
