Football: Marsh makes commitment to UCLA

If it stands and defensive lineman Cassius Marsh of Westlake Village Oaks Christian signs next Wednesday with UCLA, as he’s now telling people, it might be the most important pickup Coach Rick Neuheisel has pulled in the recruiting battle.

Marsh, 6-foot-3, 275 pounds, is exactly what UCLA needs on the defensive line, a big, tough, mean defender. Of course, he had previously committed to California and LSU, so UCLA fans might not want to celebrate until a letter of intent is faxed Wednesday morning.
