Girls’ basketball: Mater Dei’s Jordan Adams sets a new record

Sophomore point guard Jordan Adams had a school-record 12 assists and junior guard Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 26 points to lead Mater Dei to a 79-44 victory over Orange Lutheran on Tuesday night.

Mater Dei (19-1, 5-0), ranked No. 2 in the Southland by The Times, will play Rosary on Thursday.
