Girls’ basketball: Bad news for Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills learned Friday that Morgan Mason, who has been out all season with an ACL injury, will not be cleared to play this season.

And the Normans’ leading scorer, Miranda Abdul-Mansour, will miss the next four games after she was elbowed under the eye Friday during a game against Inglewood.

The senior guard was taken to the hospital and received stitches. She was averaging 22 points and nine rebounds a game for Beverly Hills (14-9, 3-3).

Beverly Hills lost to Inglewood, 61-45, at Inglewood, and the Normans will play Bishop Montgomery tonight at 6 p.m. at the Santa Monica Westside Extravaganza.
