Baseball: Bonds transfers to Valencia

James Bonds, the son of La Canada St. Francis football coach Jim Bonds, has transferred to Valencia. Bonds, who was a second-team all-league selection last season playing baseball for the Golden Knights, is trying to come back from a knee injury.

Bonds, a junior, still has to gain athletic eligibility.
