Wilmington Banning and North Hollywood are advertising for new football coaches. Long-time Banning Coach Chris Ferragamo, who returned for a second stint as coach in 2006, is retiring though he plans to remain in an advisory role.

‘I want to pass it on to a young guy,’ Ferragamo said.

Ferragamo’s teams won eight City titles during his first stint when he took over the program in 1969 and lasted for 18 years.

Andy Kasek is leaving North Hollywood after two years as head coach by himself. He earlier worked with Jason Camp. The Huskies went 1-9 last season and didn’t have a freshman-sophomore team.
