Football: Edison defensive end gets offer from Stanford

Charles Burks, a 6-foot-1, 230-pound defensive end from Huntington Beach Edison, has picked up a scholarship offer from Stanford, according to Rivals.com.

Burks led Edison last season with 14 sacks.
