Los Angeles Loyola is making Woodland Hills Taft sweat. The Cubs trail, 32-30, at halftime. They’ve held Bryce Jones, Taft’s standout guard, to six points.

Loyola is getting balanced scoring, which is the way to stay with Taft. But I expect the Toreadors to increase their defensive pressure in the second half, and we’ll see if the Cubs can keep in range to pull off an upset.

Spencer Dinwiddie has three fouls for Taft.
