Janet Evans gets Hall of Fame honor

Janet Evans, a graduate of Placentia El Dorado who’s considered the greatest long-distance female swimmer in U.S. history, has been selected for the National Federation of State High School Assns. National High School Hall of Fame.

Evans won four gold medals at three Olympics.
