The playoff groupings for 2010-12 have been released by the Southern Section. Go here.

Schools can still appeal. Here’s a summary of football changes.

The Pac-5 Division will no longer have any at-large teams. The leagues will be the Moore, Serra, Trinity, South Coast and Sunset. The Moore still gets four entries, with the rest only three.

The Northern Division will have the Marmonte, Bay, Foothill and Golden leagues. The Marmonte is guaranteed five spots and can get a sixth as an at-large spot.

The Inland drops the Inland Valley League and adds Baseline and Sierra. The Western is way different. The Bay and Golden leave the Western. The Channel, Pacific View and Pac-7 go to the Western (see what happens when Ventura St. Bonaventure leaves your league).

The Central loses Baseline, Sierra, Mt. Baldy and adds Inland Valley and Desert Valley.
