Girls’ basketball: Inglewood 23, Bishop Amat 21 at halftime

Inglewood has a 23-21 halftime lead over Bishop Amat in the Southern California Regional Division III championship on Saturday at USC.

Bishop Amat closed the second quarter with a 7-2 run to come back from a six point deficit.

DeAjanae Scurry has eight points and six rebounds for Inglewood. Arielle Wideman, Leticia Galarza and Andrea Villanueva have five points apiece for Bishop Amat.

Bishop Amat has converted 33.3% of its field goal attempts, Inglewood has converted 28.6%. Inglewood has out-rebounded Bishop Amat 21-19.
