Girls’ basketball: Long Beach Poly 49, Fresno Clovis West 38 at the end of the third

Ariya Crook-Williams scored three three-pointers in the third quarter to give Long Beach Poly a 49-38 lead going into the fourth in the Southern California Division I regional championship on Saturday at the Galen Center.

Katie Ogdon nailed two consecutive three-pointers for Clovis West to tie the game at 33-all with 5:20 left in the third, then Poly regained control behind Crook-Williams’ sharp shooting.
