BAKERSFIELD--Long Beach Poly is getting a challenge in its bid for a record fifth consecutive state title.

El Dorado Hills Oak Ridge closed the first quarter with a 5-0 run to pull within 13-11 of the Jackrabbits heading into the second quarter of the Division I championship.

A layup by Ariya Crook-Williams had given Poly a 13-6 lead before a driving layup by Sara James and a three-point basket by Dakota McLarnan made it a two-point game.
