Football: Calling all doctors, paramedics and nurses

A free seminar to train and recruit doctors, paramedics,EMTs and nurses to work high school football games will be held June 12 from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex in downtown Los Angeles.

The seminar, ‘On-Field Protocal, Evaluation and Initial Care of Athletic Injuries,’ is being coordinated by Dr. Jerry Bornstein, a long-time volunteer to City Section football teams.

Anyone interested in participating needs to notify him by mail at P.O. Box 572379, Tarzana, CA 91357. They must include name, certification, e-mail address and contact phone number.
