This is the week lots of schools begin spring football practice, and for the first-year coaches, it’s an opportunity to let their new players know about expectations and work habits.

New Los Angeles Loyola Coach Mike Christensen has been talking about instilling toughness and aggressiveness. New Bellflower St. John Bosch Coach Jason Negro needs to convince his players that they can beat the likes of Anaheim Servite, Orange Lutheran and Santa Ana Mater Dei.
