Palisades won its second consecutive City Section boys’ tennis championship on Thursday afternoon at Balboa Sports Center in Encino. The top-seeded Dolphins demolished second-seeded Eagle Rock 28-1 1/2 in the most one-sided final ever.

Oliver Thornton, Max Licona, Robbie Bellamy and Brett Alchorn all swept as Palisades lost a total of 13 games in 16 singles sets. The No. 1 doubles team of Adnan Ansar and Aaron Alcaraz got Eagle Rock’s only victory, beating Palisades’ No. 3 tandem of Myles Rodgers-Halliday and Robert Silvers, 6-3. The No. 2 team of Kevin Parducho and William Thi led Rodgers-Halliday and Silvers 4-0 and 5-2 before the Dolphins’ duo rallied to win 8-6 in a tiebreaker.
