Golf: Servite takes Southern Section team title

Anaheim Servite placed first Thursday at the Southern Section team championships at Redhawk Golf Course in Temecula with a score of 365. Temecula Great Oak was second at 370. Villa Park finished third and Santa Barbara fourth.

All four schools qualify for the CIF state championships June 3 at the SCGA Member Club in Temecula.

Servite’s Patrick Cantlay and Great Oak’s Doug Head each shot 4-under 68 to be the top individuals.
