Baseball: San Pedro takes 8-6 lead

A sacrifice fly by pinch-hitter Nolan Meadows has given San Pedro an 8-6 lead over El Camino Real going into the bottom of the sixth inning of the City Section Division I final.
El Camino Real brought in All-City pitcher Jose Cardona in the top of the sixth. He has only two innings to pitch because he threw eight innings on Wednesday. The Pirates loaded the bases on a single and two walks. Then Meadows hit his fly ball to left to score Dino Boskovich.
San Pedro has outhit the Conquistadores, 12-3.
