Baseball: Yucaipa wins on Hardison’s home run

Matt Hardison’s two-out, first pitch, two-run home run in the seventh inning off T.J. Kendzora has given Yucaipa a 7-5 victory over El Toro in the Division 2 semifinals.

Yucaipa will play No. 1 Glendora in Saturday’s 4:30 p.m. final at The Diamond at Lake Elsinore. Glendora defeated Mira Costa, 2-1, on a walk-off home run by Jacob Smigelski.

In Division 4, Torrance defeated Indio, 3-1, to advance to the championship game.
