It’s the status quo in the Southern Section Division 4 baseball championship game. Palm Desert scored two runs in the first inning and still leads, 2-0, after five innings against Torrance.

Torrance has gotten its leadoff man aboard in the third, fourth and fifth innings but nothing has happened after that. A botched bunt, then a double play seems to have left the Tartars are little confused what to do. They only have six more outs to figure things out.
