Golf: Three-way tie for first at state final

Patrick Cantlay from Anaheim Servite, Jack Perry from Santa Barbara and Shane Lebow from Santa Barbara each tied with 4-under 68s at the CIF state championship golf tournament Tuesday at Santa Maria Country Club. They are having a playoff to decide the individual champion. Andrew Levitt of Santa Margarita was one shot back at 3-under.

In the team competition, Santa Barbara won the state title over Anaheim Servite.

Robin Jang from Van Nuys turned in one of the best performances by a City Section golfer in years, finishing at even par 72.

UPDATE: The UCLA-bound Cantlay won the individual title with a birdie on the second playoff hole.
