Boys’ basketball: Taylor King leaves Villanova team

Former Santa Ana Mater Dei standout Taylor King has withdrawn from the Villanova basketball team. He will remain at the school to focus on getting his degree.

King had been considered one of the top basketball prospects in California during his high school career, committing to UCLA as a freshman, then going to Duke and ending up at Villanova.
