Former Woodland Hills El Camino Real and UC Irvine pitcher Eric Pettis is looking like the steal of the 2010 baseball draft. Chosen in the 35th round by the Philadelphia Phillies, Pettis was selected to play in Tuesday’s New York Penn League All-Star Game.

Pitching for the Williamsport Crosscutters, Pettis is 7-0 with a 1.32 ERA and 51 strikeouts in 47 2/3 innings. He also has four saves.
