Boys’ basketball: Dinwiddie helps team win in all-star game

Point guard Spencer Dinwiddie from Woodland Hills Taft had 10 points and four assists to help the Class of 2011 defeat the Class of 2012, 83-78, in the SOCAL Clash Sunday at The HAX in Hawthorne.

Kevin Bailey from Clovis East led the winners with 17 points. Gelaun Wheelwright from Corona Centennial added 10 points.

For the Class of 2012, Anthony January from Compton had 16 points and Victor Robbins from Compton had 10. Max Guercy from Mission Hills Alemany had 11 points.
