It didn’t take long for Servite to get on the board in its intersectional game at Granada Hills Kennedy. Apparently the two-hour bus ride north to the San Fernando Valley hasn’t made the Friars drowsy.

After Kennedy failed to gain a yard on its first drive, Servite took possession at its 33-yard line and methodically marched 67 yards in 10 plays, capped by quarterback Cody Pittman‘s 10-yard keeper.

On its second possession, host Kennedy picked up two first downs before punting. Servite is on the move again, leading 7-0 late in the first quarter.
