Football: Commissioners support regional playoff system

A poll of the section commissioners in the California Interscholastic Federation indicates support for a regional football playoff, according to City Section Commissioner Barbara Fiege.

Fiege said the support was not unanimous at a meeting of section commissioners, but a majority would support regional playoffs. A proposal could be coming from the football advisory committee.
