With Crespi threatening and coming back from a 21-7 halftime deficit, Alemany put together a devastating 80-yard drive in the fourth quarter, culminating in Saladin McCullough’s second touchdown reception of the night, this one from nine yards, and Alemany came away with a 28-17 Serra League victory.
Quarterback Vernon Adams passed for 262 yards and three touchdowns as Alemany improved to 7-0.
Chaminade improved to 7-0 with a 29-26 victory over St. Francis. Bishop Amat improved to 8-0 with a 41-31 victory over Loyola.
Valencia defeated Canyon Country Canyon, 52-31. Woodland Hills Taft defeated Woodland Hills El Camino Real, 38-0.
