Football: Santa Margarita gets second place in Trinity League

As far as coach of the year goes, it’s going to be hard not to recognize Harry Welch of Santa Margarita. The Eagles finished in second place in the Trinity League after knocking off Santa Ana Mater Dei, 17-7.

Santa Margarita was 0-5 in the Trinity League last season. This season, the Eagles went 4-1. Welch, in his first season, has Santa Margarita 8-2 overall.
