Lakewood and San Clemente are locked in a scoreless tie through one quarter at Lakewood High.

Lancers’ quarterback Tyler Schultz was intercepted by Christian Bailey, setting San Clemente up at Lakewood’s 39-yard line.

Three plays later San Clemente quarterback Travis Wilson overthrew a receiver and Darius Powe made a diving interception for Lakewood.

Lakewood will have a third down at the Tritons’ 17-yard line when the second quarter begins.
