Football: Taft wants to avenge loss to Dorsey

The stage is set for tonight’s City Section Division I quarterfinal between fourth-seeded Los Angeles Dorsey (10-1) and fifth-seeded Woodland Hills Taft (8-3) at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

Dorsey is led by quarterback Joseph Gray, who has thrown for 2,830 yards and 30 touchdowns. The Dons beat Gardena, 37-7, in the first round last week.

Taft will try to reverse a 37-24 loss in its season opener September 9. The Toreadors are led by quarterback Michael Bercovici, who has thrown for 3,240 yards and 34 touchdowns.
