Boys’ basketball: Poly 19, Mater Dei 6

It was all Long Beach Poly in the first quarter of tonight’s Southern California Regional Division I semifinal at Long Beach City College.

The host Jackrabbits have a 19-6 lead over Mater Dei. Roschon Prince has five points and Alexis Moore and Ryan Anderson each have four for top-seeded Poly.

Mater Dei didn’t make a field goal until Katin Reinhardt‘s turnaround jumper in the lane with 1:25 left.
