Boys’ basketball: La Verne Lutheran takes 34-32 lead

It was a rough third quarter for La Canada, but the Spartans trail only 34-32 to La Verne Lutheran going into the fourth quarter of the Division III regional final.
La Canada had scored only two points in the quarter until the Spartans made their first three-pointer of the game by Dario CiVon with 51 seconds left in the quarter. They had fallen behind, 32-27.
The fourth quarter has been the quarter La Canada has won all season, but Lutheran has moved on top, 40-34, with 5:26 left behind Grant Jerrett.
