Boys’ basketball: Windward wins Division IV title

Wesley Saunders scored 15 points and Nick Stover and Jordan Wilson each added 13 as Los Angeles Windward won the state Division IV championship with a 63-57 victory over Richmond Salesian at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento.
Stover hit a three-pointer to give Windward (27-8) a 56-50 lead with 1:24 left.
It was the second state title of the day for the Wildcats, whose girls also won the Division IV crown.
