Football: Dana Hills passing tournament is filled with top teams

The summer seven-on-seven passing season officially kicks off with the Dana Hills tournament on June 11, and it’s an impressive group of teams.

Pool A will be made up of Dana Hills, Santa Ana Mater Dei, Corona Roosevelt, West Hills Chaminade and Los Alamitos. Pool B is San Clemente, Los Angeles Loyola, Santa Margarita, Long Beach Poly and Upland. Pool C is Tesoro, Huntington Beach Edison, Narbonne, Bellflower St. John Bosco and Mission Viejo Trabuco Hills.

Action begins at 9 a.m. and the championship is at 4:30 p.m. It’s a long day but the early going when everyone is fresh is fun to watch.
