Boys’ basketball: Fairfax gets West Adams transfer

Los Angeles Fairfax has improved its team immediately with the arrival of 6-foot-6 West Adams transfer Taj Adams, who started last season as a junior and was the team’s leading scorer.

‘He’s got some definite talent,’ Coach Harvey Kitani said.

Fairfax has been using guard Brendon Taylor during spring league even though he has been declared ineligible for next season by the CIF. Taylor is trying to regain his eligibility.
