Track & Field: Lambert wins 100 and 200 at City Finals

Lexis Lambert won the 100-meter dash in 12.16 seconds at the City Section Championships at Birmingham High, then doubled back to win the 200 later in the day in 24.88.

Jamie Greenberg of Palisades repeated as girls’ pole vault champion with a height of 11 feet. Makenna Breitenfeld of Woodland Hills El Camino Real and Bailey Ramos of Marshall tied for second at nine feet.

Alex Hamidzadeh of El Camino Real won the boys’ pole vault, clearing 12-7.
