Baseball: L.A. Wilson maintains 1-0 lead over No. Hollywood

L.A. Wilson has a 1-0 lead over North Hollywood through three innings of the City Section Division II championship game at Dodger Stadium.

Andrew Urbina has retired eight of nine batters for Wilson, with the only batter reaching base on an error. North Hollywood pitcher Eddie Torres got a lift in the bottom of the third when he tagged out a sliding Urbina at the plate trying to score on a passed ball.

Update: North Hollywood got its first hit, a double by Jonathan Linares, but after four innings, Wilson leads, 1-0. After five innings, there’s been only three hits and Wilson leads, 1-0. It’s taken less than an hour to play five innings.
