Baseball: L.A. Wilson takes lead in Division II final

L.A. Wilson has opened a 1-0 lead over North Hollywood after the first inning of the City Section Division II championship game at Dodger Stadium.

After Andrew Urbina got out of the first inning for the Mules without allowing a hit, Wilson got an RBI single from Angel Araujo off freshman pitcher Eddie Torres in the bottom of the first. Rudy Aispuro followed with another single, but Torres struck out Chris Tovar to end the inning.

Update: Urbina has retired eight of nine batters, and Wilson has a 1-0 lead entering the bottom of the third inning.
