Baseball: Kriske, Bacon receive top awards in North-South Series

Palm Desert pitcher-infielder Brooks Kriske was named the most outstanding player in the North-South Series this weekend at San Diego State. Kriske is a USC commit. The South defeated the North, 5-1, on Sunday to complete a three-game sweep.
Infielder Dallas Bacon of Newhall Hart was selected the most outstanding player for the South team.
