Boys’ basketball: Chaminade center picks up scholarship offer

Gilles Dierickx, a 6-foot-11 center from West Hills Chaminade who graduated two years after arriving from Belgium, has picked up a college basketball scholarship offer from Florida International and is expected to sign, Coach Todd Wolfson said.
Isiah Thomas is the coach at Florida International.
Update: Dierickx has committed to Florida International.
