Baseball: L.A. Cathedral is getting top freshmen

L.A. Cathedral is starting to build a prep baseball powerhouse in Southern Section Division 5. The Phantoms made it to the Division 5 semifinals last seasons starting three freshmen, and Coach Scott Pearson said he has three more top incoming freshmen players who could be major contributors next spring.
Leading the way is infielder Willie Aguilar, who is a finalist to make the USA 14U national team. The Phantoms are also getting two freshmen pitchers.
