Football: Corona Centennial takes 20-14 lead over St. Bonaventure

A five-yard touchdown pass from Hayden Gavett to Isaac Crandall with one minute left in the second quarter has given Corona Centennial a 20-14 lead over St. Bonaventure.

Both schools scored touchdowns on their first two possessions for a 14-14 deadlock into the second quarter. Seven illegal procedure penalties slowed the Huskies.

Then a high punt snap and a tackle by Gavin Andrews gave Centennial the ball on the St. Bonaventure 23 with two minutes left in the quarter, and the Huskies took advantage.
