Running back Ryan Wolpin scored four touchdowns on runs, the longest from 34 yards, to help No. 2-ranked Santa Margarita (3-0) defeat Trabuco Hills, 35-14.

It wasn’t a strong overall performance for Santa Margarita. Quarterback Johnny Stanton was intercepted twice in the first half. The Eagles picked off four passes, two by Reid Andrew, who scored a touchdown.

While Santa Margarita Coach Harry Welch praised Trabuco Hills, he also said, ‘I thought I was horrible. I didn’t do a good job preparing my team.’
