Ventura St. Bonvanture has scored a pair of touchdowns and trails Westlake Village Oaks Christian, 27-24, midway through the fourth quarter.

After an Oaks Christian touchdown gave the Lions a 27-10 lead with 2:10 in the third quarter, the Seraphs responded with an 11-play, 70-yard drive that was finished with a one-yard touchdown run by quarterback Marc Evans with 10:25 in the fourth quarter, cutting Oaks Christian’s lead to 27-17.

St. Bonaventure cut that lead to three when Evans found junior wide receiver Montre Lee wide open down the middle of the field with 9:11 in the fourth quarter for a 55-yard touchdown.

But, with 6:52 in the fourth quarter, the field lights suddenly went out.
