Mission Viejo leads Long Beach Poly, 17-12, in fourth quarter

Long Beach Poly needed a big play and they got it late in the fourth quarter.

Long Beach Poly’s Randall Goforth scored on an 84-yard interception return to help cut Mission Viejo’s lead to 17-12 with 5:16 left in the fourth quarter. Poly failed to score on a two-point conversion after Chaiyse Hales overthrew a pass intended for Josiah Blandin.

It was Goforth’s second interception of the game.
