Baseball: UCLA gets commitment from pitcher James Kaprielian

James Kaprielian, the ace pitcher from Irvine Beckman’s Southern Section Division III championship team, has committed to UCLA. He was 11-1 last season.

UCLA Coach John Savage is expected to sign one of the best group of pitchers in the nation during the November early signing period, including Harvard-Westlake’s Lucas Giolito and Max Fried and Camarillo’s Hunter Virant.
