Football: Santa Margarita is in control, 38-14

Santa Margarita has opened a 38-14 lead over Los Alamitos with under nine minutes left at Veterans Stadium.

Ryan Wolpin scored his second touchdown on a one-yard run. He has rushed for 185 yards. Johnny Stanton has rushed for 138 yards and scored three touchdowns while also passing for 154 yards.

Santa Margarita is headed for a 5-0 start and will get next week off to prepare for an Oct. 13 Trinity League opener agianst Mater Dei.
