Westlake Village Oaks Christian players, fans, cheerleaders and coaches made the walk from campus to nearby Westlake High on Thursday night, starting a tradition they hope to continues in future years, though the two schools aren’t scheduled to play football again unless it’s in the playoffs.

Bill Redell, the Lions’ 70-year-old coach, was sweating a little afterward but he made the 20-minute walk with his wife, Cheryl.
