It has been a defensive stalemate between two of Southern California’s best teams through one quarter of play under the lights at the University of Redlands.
Redlands East Valley is doing a good job keeping pressure on Mission Viejo quarterback Alex Bridgford, who’s been stymied on the Diablos’ first three possessions.
The Wildcats managed to cross the 50 on their third possession, but a false start pentalty coupled with an incomplete pass on third down forced Redlands East Valley to punt.
One big play could really open up this game as Redlands East Valley looks to avenge its 42-14 loss to the Diablos last year.
