Upland has scored rushing touchdowns on its first two possessions against Rancho Cucamonga’s defense, which had allowed about a touchdown total coming into the game.

Highlanders quarterback Nate Romine rushed for a one-yard touchdown with 46.1 seconds left to cap off a eight-play, 78-yard drive.

Upland leads, 14-0.
